Chalet Hotel Le Val D'Isere, Val-d'Isere

I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. While the location is fantastic, just a short walk from the ski lifts, the overall experience was marred by cleanliness issues and troubling service. My family and I were excited for a winter getaway, but we faced numerous hygiene problems, which led to a significant health scare during our visit. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was a highlight, and I appreciated the efforts made by the kitchen staff to create enjoyable dining experiences.

The hotel has a fantastic location in the heart of Val, offering easy access to shopping and skiing. The staff is genuinely caring and attentive, which made my stay more enjoyable. However, the rooms are quite outdated and in need of renovation, which detracted from the overall experience. Dining was a highlight with an excellent variety of food, though some aspects like cleanliness of cutlery could use improvement.
